![]() Many years ago, I drew iZotope's attention to this flaw (I think it was in RX2 at that time) and they commented back to forward this to the developers, but seemingly those haven't been able to fix that during all the years up to v.8. The flaw consists in the pre-roll for the preview being completely ignored whatever pre-roll time figure you set in the software options, the spectral editing preview plays from the beginning of the selection, i.e. Which is the following one: As iZotope over many years and many RX versions up to v.8 have never been able to make the preview function of the SpectralEditing work properly, I assume that this flaw is still present in v.9, too. Just wanted to post a question here, in case someone already installed RX9 and likes to comment on my assumption. ![]() Actually, to me there seems nothing new of interest in v.9, but that's of course an individual statement.
